Mentors For Williams County – Program Closure Notice

After careful consideration, Mentors For Williams County has made the difficult decision to discontinue our mentoring program. We no longer have the volunteer capacity and resources needed to operate the program at the level our youth and families deserve.

We are deeply grateful to all mentors, families, and community partners who have supported the program since its founding in 2020. The relationships built between mentors and youth have created meaningful experiences and lasting impact.

We are in the process of notifying all mentors, families, and partner organizations and expect to have all program matters resolved by the end of March. Mentors and youth may continue their relationships independently if both the mentor and family are comfortable.

Any remaining program funds will be donated to another organization that supports youth in need so that these resources can continue to benefit local young people.
