About the event
What is Night at the Races?
It is a fundraising event where you bet with funny money on prerecorded horse races and then cash in your funny money for raffle tickets to win multiple prizes of your choice.
What can I expect?
When you arrive you'll be given a race programs and $10 funny money. The programs will list all of the races (10), the horses in each race, as well as their odds.
A few minutes before each race you go to the betting window to place your bets (with the funny money)on which horse you think will win.
The betting window will close and Jim Funderburg will announce the names of the horse, jockey and owner, as well as what the funny money payout will be for the winner of that race.
